This summer, we offer workshops to bring your salsa skills to the next level! For the Saturdays, we invited teachers from other well known Dutch dance schools to share their unique style and technique in our Salsa Inspiration Series. We welcome you to be surprised and inspired!

Three workshops on Saturday

The workshops will take place on Saturday from 12 to 2 PM. You can choose to follow the complete series of choose one or two separate workshops.

SALSA LADIES ONLY by Martina Placeres

The workshop on August 17th is for ladies only! Martina will bring her own style, technique and flavour to the 2 hour workshop. She often incorporates theatrical elements into her dance classes and loves adding a touch of drama and playfulness. Every session is a full-body adventure – you will probably leave feeling muscles you didn’t even know existed!

Martina Placeres is a mambo dancer with a rich background in musical theatre. Her dance journey began on the stages of theater and musicals, where she found big inspiration that now influences her salsa dance journey. She is passionate about technique and beliefsthat a solid foundation is crucial for artistic freedom. Her classes focus on mastering technique to empower dancers to break the rules creatively and express themselves with confidence. She also emphasizes the importance of performance, encouraging dancers express fully through their movements.
