Trans Swimming

In this Transsport Workshop we'll be going swimming together!

Swimming is something that often causes a lot of dysphoria and awkward situations for trans people. Stares from cis people, picking a changing room and bodily discomfort are often reason why we refrain from swimming at all.

In collaboration with the organization Trans Zwemmen we rented out a pool for a full hour so we can do some fun swimming with just us! The whole pool is at our disposal so we can swim in peace together with just the Transsport group. Eeée (founder of Trans Zwemmen) will play some fun water games with us but also you're more than free to just be in the water and float around or sit on the side of the pool and watch.

Clothing wise you're also more than free to wear whatever you want, as long as it's not unsafe to swim in (very heavy clothes for instance) or makes the water dirty. Long tees, sport shorts etc. are all welcome 💜

We ask you to be present at the location (de Mirandabad) at 16:00, so we can change our clothes and start swimming at 16:30!
